Really nervous about using Quick Fix

If some miracle occurs and an at-home test comes up negative, would I be safe to go ahead with my own urine sample and safe the QF for another time?

How reliable are those at-home tests really? They say 99.9% accurate.. it's the .1% I worry about...

I've read thread after thread here and BloodyRedBaron's perpetual post (thanks for providing that information over and over again!) But, I'm still reallly nervous. I haven't smoked for 3 weeks and I've been drinking detox tea (mostly because I like it, I doubt its going to help). I have to have the lab work done by March 3rd for the results to get back to the employer by the 13th (my start date). Any words of encouragement and Rating: 5

So you haven't smoked for 3 weeks & are using a sort of Detox tea?

I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Barron, I may be new to this board, but I've been working in the same industry for the last 20 years & I'm subjected to random's at least twice yearly. I don't know what your threads have entailed, but I've passed tests without smoking for 24hrs, just drinking as much water as I can handle ( not the best way to pass, but it was my only chance ).

If you've been clean for 3 weeks, I wouldn't worry about it, just take my 1 phrase of advise, never give the testers your first piss of the day. A few years ago I had been clean for 22 days, woke up took the test & failed. Bitched about it & they let me re-test the same day with my next piss & I passed.

Alot of places check for dilution.And it sends up a red flag.
Adulteration is the tampering of a urine specimen with the intention of altering the test results.The use of adulterants can cause false negative results in drug tests by either interfering with the screening test and or destroying the drug present in the urine.Dilution may also be employed in an attempt to produce false negative drug test results.
One of the best ways to test for adulteration or dilution is to determine certain urinary characteristics such as Creatinine,pH,and Specific Gravity and to detect the presence of glutaraldehyde, nitrite and oxidants/pyridinium chlorochromate (PCC) in urine.

See.. THAT's exactly the type of situation that I know I could avoid, that's just sheer stupidity.

I understand the night work.. my husband works the night shift and he's NEVER in a good mood when he first gets home. Too bad he doesn't toke.. he'd feel so much better.

I take it I should use ALL of the 2 ounces of QF.

In your experience, do they make you empty your pockets? I would imagine they do.. Gad.. I'm such a drug test virgin! LOL

They made me empty pockets take off coat and hat.
Then they put it in a locked box. They color the toilet water blue and turn off water in sink.Or listen for running water.They can NOT frisk you.(pat you down ect.) Thats why I say keep it in your crotch.I didn't know you were a girl so you have it even Ezer.You also have the right to privacy so they can't watch you.Unless its for P.O.(probation) or they find a diluted urine.Or have REASONABLE CAUSE.
I have used sub many many times and never had that happen.
QF,Wifes urine and no problems.

If your hubby don't smoke why not just use his urine?
They can not tell age or gender by a sample.
Actualy they can but it not in there protocol.And DNA testing has to be done and it is way to expensive.

Oh and yes use all of it.It will fill the cup aprx.2 3rds good enough.Just say thats all you can go.(only if they ask)

If you do that.Don't use the first few pisses of the day and use midstrem piss.
Pee a little put it in cup then finish peeing.

I called the lab earlier in the week and they said just bring my photo ID and a full bladder. I figure I'll go with just the photo ID like they said, nothing in my pockets.

I practiced tonight with a 2 oz. shampoo bottle we got from a recent hotel stay. The only problem is the noise.. I'm hoping the QF bottle has a bit bigger opening than the shampoo bottle.

QF comes with a cap and a squirt cap.Do not use the squirt cap due to the hisssss when it emptys.Just use the cap thats on it.Open it slowly and tilt both the cup and QF to avoid the glug glug sound while pouring.
