I handed over my eighth and as a result, they are now proud of me and trust me and feel that I have matured, but I am stuck now morally. I really would like to smoke (I'm just a weekend warrior) but now I feel I would be betraying their trust to just go out and buy a new piece and pick up some bud. I think if I talked to them a bit, maybe they would let me keep a bit in the house and smoke on occasion. What would you do?

I wish more kids were like you. Actually, we have similar rules in our house. We know we can't control what our kids do when not home but we do not allow them to drink, smoke, screw, etc in our house. Hell, I can't even smoke in my house. Keep the peace and follow the rules until you get your own place. Listen to your conscience. Sounds like your parents are decent people and deserve the respect. And is certainly can't hurt to keep the lines open and keep talking to them.
