A few months ago I had a big bottle of liquid hydrocodone. The bottle said take 1-3 teaspoons, so I decided I'd take 4-5. Since it was so much, I wanted to measure it out in a glass beaker I have with ML measurements. So, I went online to convert from teaspoons to mililiters. I accidently converted tablespoons instead of teaspoons.

Blissfully unaware of this fact, I went back into the kitchen to measure it out. At the last second I decided to take half and see what happens before I take the other half. By the time I went to take the other half, I forgot the measurement and went back online to find it again. That's when I found my mistake. I realized I had already overdosed at about 6 teaspoons and was going to take 6-8 more. That likely would have killed me, had I not forgotten the measurement...
