thc isnt water soluble so it would just sit there and do basically nothing unless you drank the water with all the green in it, try using two pots or a pot and a bowl and boil water in the outside one and put the butter and weed in the inside one, that usually works alright but not the greatest

i know that. i know whlat im doing. im making cannibutter. all i wana know is if boiling it smells less or more then the saute' method

yah if you boil it does not smell bad i make tea every once in a while the smell is in the steam really and it leaves pretty quick my friends mom walked in 20 min after we drank the tea and she smelt nothing man i was trippin we also smoked 4 nice blunts before the tea.

Yeah, I've used the boiling method to make cannabutter, still smelt a fair bit but I've never tried any other method so I can't really compere.

you can't boil fat only scald it. I'm in chef training fat doesn't boil

what are you talking about...we're not boiling the fat...we're boiling the water.
