I've noticed that if they have been exposed to pollen or excessive heat they tend to brown early. This could also be caused by an excess in nutrient or fertilizer. But as some get old and turn orange then brown, other new white ones appear. Not sure exactly on the lifespan of pistils but itâ??s probably only a few weeks.
elcheapo Reviewed by elcheapo on . Browing Pistils.....already?! Hey, so these pistils are turning brown already, but its only 20 days into flower! The other plant has some brown pistils, but not as many. Does anyone who grows white widow know if this is common, or is this plant ill? It just seems early to have so many brown pistils. Im using miracle grow soil which sucks i know. Input much appreciated! Rating: 5
