Im also guessing the answer for No.3 is...... the longest side (y) =21.3 and (x) which is the smallest side is 11 ......so (y=21.3) (x=11)

by the way mate, just remember that No.1 and No.2 aren't that much different, but because they have 2/4 of a square or 2 triangles it doesn't matter thos top 2 are very long equations and will have a very different answer because of it

#1 I am guessing that Y is the alt of the triangle?
So Y = 44 Sin60 = 22 x root 3
Also Y is one side of a 45 rt triangle so
X = Y root(2) = 22 x root 6
If y is the base of the triangle then the above still works but you need to find the base of the 60 30 triangle and thats 44 cos 60 = 22

#2 is exactly the same problem except you start with 14 instead of 44
