Box Grow,"Blueberry X Northern lights",100% organic,soil medium
I apologize for the current lack of pictures, but I will get some up as soon as possible. My current setup is:
1.5' wide x 1.5' long x 2' high flowering box with 2000 lumens of fluoro from the side, 35watt Hps on top, and soon a 70watt Hps on top as well.
Beside the flowering box is a 2.5' seedling box with 4000 lumens of fluoro. The fluoro light in both the boxes is 2 4' 40W outdoor light tubes(the first 1.5' of the tube is in the flowering box and the other 2.5' are in the seedling box. This will be clear when the pictures are up.
So basically with the 35watt and 70watt hps and the fluoro I will get about 11,000 lumens in a ~2 square foot area hence 5500 lumens per square foot. the walls of the box is also covered with mylar to reduce wasting light.
Medium is pro. potting soil with worm castings and 100% organic ferts in their water.BCBUDS Reviewed by BCBUDS on . How's the ventilation? I've had some major heat issues with my small cabinet grow, and this is only with 200 watt cfl.

Well my ventilation system is comprised of a computer fan to cool down the 35 watt cfl and i bought a fan with hepa filter/carbon filter and ionizer that pulls the air out and keeps negative pressure. The temperature changed from ~65F to ~75F when i added the 35W hps. I think if the temp increases too much when i will add the 70W hps, I will slip a piece of plexy glass between the lights and the box.
I hope this will suffice during flowering, which i plan to start in about a week. Since my 48" shoplight setup with fluoro tubes is in the flowering chamber as well as the seedling box, i plan to also have a 24 hour per day cfl in the seedling box to keep them from going into flowering. I think this will work but I would appreciate input from anyone with experience with this. My plants are currently on 7th internode and are about 7 inches high, and pretty girthy.
