ok so as some of you know, i went to france for 9 days.. i just started a new job but i already had the trip booked so they said i could take the time off, the day before i was going away one of my supervisors told me to have a good trip etc etc, all was ok.. then i got back on sunday, a day early, but my holiday was booked until monday so i obviously didnt go into work, i dont work on tuesdays, and normally i get one other random day off in the week, so i phoned work on wednesday and they said that wednesday was also my day off, and not to come in until thursday.. so, i woke up ready for work, got there early, walked in and straight away my supervisor walks up to me and was all like "james i need to speak to you in my office NOW" then made me wait in the cafeteria for half an hour while he "consulted the area manager" then they both come and fetch me and do this whole good cop/bad cop routine, asking questions about my where ive been.. i told them "ive been on holiday, like i told you i was gonna be before i even started working here" and they checked some little piece of paper, which was probably fucking blank anyway and were like "sorry but we dont have any record of you having a holiday booked"! when my fuckin supervisor was sittin right next to me, the same fucking guy that told me to have a good trip and he'll see me when he gets back!!!! so i was like "look, am i in shit or what? are you gonna fuckin sack me or not? tell me" and the manager said "well, in light of these events, our company has decided that youre not performing satisfactorily" and "youre not living up to our expectations" plus the fact that i took "a 9 or 10 day holiday without letting anybody know, so we've decided to terminate your contract" !!!!!!!! i didnt know what to say, so i told the "manager" to go fuck himself and walked out.. then i get home, and my aunt phones up looking for my mum so i tell her whats happened coz she works for the same company and tells me theyve been looking to fire someone, because their deadlines havent been met and theyre gettin pressure and need a scapegoat etc etc.. SO, to sum it all up, im fucking pissed off, i was lookin forward to the next few weeks coz my mums on holiday so ive got the house to myself, was gonna throw a hell of alotta parties and shit, but now ive got like NO money because i spent it all on my holiday,.. anyway, life sucks.. peace
