like it, every time i spark up a joint, im funding the colombian gang wars and afgan's, Al queada, the KKK, lol love it,
Hey, maybe, if I grow my own, *which I do by the way*
    I'm funding myself?
    Oh, and the electric man.
    so what?
    There goes half your arguement.
As for all the problems tobacco make?
Well, I live in the UK too, and you have to be ignorant to not know this.
IF ALL THE SMOKERS STOPPED SMOKING TOMORROW. THE COUNTRY'S ECONOMY WOULD CRUMBLE.
Now, I know this may SEEM over the top. But take into account of the fact that there is over 150% tax prices on fags not to mention good ol' 17.5% VAT.
Every pack you buy your giving the government £2 basically.
So, it's not like the government aren't milking it.
Fact is, the NHS, will always be the same, everyone will go private unless the government actually DOES something, fucking tony blair's a prick, I could do a better job, thing is I'd actually ask the public what they want.
Easy peasy, anyways, we are funding the whole government by smoking thanks to walter raleigh. So, there goes that, the nhs would be in a worse state if it were not for the revenue smoking has brought the government over the years.

Also, 50 years ago, nobody had cancer, or nobody knew they had cancer.
    FACT OF THE MATTER:
EVERYTHING NOW CAN CAUSE YOU CANCER, CAN STOP CANCER, COULD INCREASE THE RISK OF CANCER.
I'm not saying fag's are harmless, what I am saying, is that, nobody ACTUALLY knows what causes cancer.
Why do people who never smoked a day in their life get cancer?
Why do people think red wine is a cancer preventer? After all, it's been in the papers.
Why do people think *insert something here* could cause cancer?
There are thousands of claims of thing's could cause cancer.

With the increase of science and mediciene, more and more illnesses and diseases are being found.
Regardless of whether smoking causes cancer, the 2 are now hand in hand,
    truth, or just coincidence?
You may think I'm paranoid, but in all honesty, if it was as clean cut as smoking gives you cancer, then nobody would do it, but then there are people who smoke 60 a day, for 50 years, and are fine.
Then there are those, who never smoke, and die of cancer.

In conclusion though, yes, I'll bet my house, that cannabis will be claimed to be responsible for causing diseases in 20 years time.
Fact is though, will it really?

Just posting this to emphasise the fact of what I'm going to prove

Wallnichola, you claim, we cant trust the government
This is obvious due to this post:
"what we see on tv not real we are like a big computer an run of the info we are given"

So, the government are lying to us.
    Fair enough.
Then how do we KNOW, smoking does what it does?
Now, I'm not disputing it, but how do YOU, PERSONALLY, KNOW?
    You don't.
You go by what everyone else does.
    So.....
now, you have a free will, your not a clone who aimlessly goes where the masses go.

So, with your freewill, are you really prepared to accept, what the government says about cannabis, in 5 / 10 years time?
    I wouldnt.

okay i'll add my two 'sense'
i'm 28 and have been smoking for 13 years or so
at 24 i started my own business, struggled at first as all start-ups do
now 4 years later i make a very comfortable living
bought a modest house at 26 by myself and for myself, my wife, and my child
i grow my own to use (never sell my babies) and give some to a close circle of friends
i'm in the best shape of my life physically and mentally (non-tobacco user)
cannabis helps me with relaxation and back pain

point is...i have been very successful and the notion that cannibis ruins your life whether you are noticing it or not is assinine, you know if your doing the right thing or not and what your priorities are. people can ruin their lives with bad choices they make. i choose to smoke after the day is done and my work has been completed. nothing is more satisfying to me than sitting down and smoking a joint...and realizing i have done all i could to this day, to help my family and help my business. i agree with the moderation comments...you have to be in control of the choices you make and accept the consequences of those decisions. all i can say is, keep on smoking, but take care of your responsibilities before you do...it makes smoking that much more enjoyable.
