I love Dylan but really can't get into his newer stuff that much. I saw him in concert a few years back and was really disapointed. His voice has always been unique,and is getting rougher day by day, but when I saw him you seriously couldn't understand a word he said. That's understandable but the worst thing was that he changed the arrangments of most of his songs. They all had a distinctly "pop" sound that just didn't fit. I didn't even realize Tangled Up In Blue was Tangled Up until about 2-3 minutes into the song.

Anyhow, I still think Bob is a genius. Did you know that Stanford University actually has a class called "Intro to Bob Dylan" I think its part of their poetry program.

That's interesting about Stanford. Dylan really is a genius and he'll go down in history with the best of the best.
