My supermarket had cherries that were doubles,two cherries grown together like Siamese twins... Upon research the trees were genetically altered,that can mean animals were used in the process... There is a code prefix on every fruit and Veg in the store,there are codes for Organic,non organic,genetically altered... I don't have the code prefix's on me right now,but they can be google as that is how I got them...
We have some of what you call "heirloom seeds"! I am glad to see your post! I would love to have some of your tomato seeds.....these are seeds without modern "help" and the ones that are true organic to me. I grow in the summer also..and really can't go into detail on here but I love having year round fresh vegetables. Wow..you are lucky on your seeds..good post.. Could we do a trade on the seeds? lol..seriously though..you are blessed..keep them close.
