Ok my friends say i am cheap but i say this technique is completely legit.

First slowly milk the chamber to its full capacity,
Next exhale out your nose then
Suck with all your might until you cant inhale much more,

Then slowly exhale, if done correctly the top of your lungs should be oxygen whilst the bottom is super dense smoke, also since you take it in so quick you cant feel it on the way down and never get topshelfed.

This isnt cheap at all, right?

actually it is kinda cheap. Your taking two hits. Even when ur filling up the chamber, smoke goes into your lungs, and when you exhale it through your nose, your making more room for new smoke. When you clear the bong, your inhaling more smoke then if you would have with just one hit.

Sometimes my friends with try this, but quickly get harrassed for it by everyone

i see no problem with it. i think the "filling-up-the-chamber" hit should count as a freebie with everyone...unless you have a low ass bud supply

Taking a bong hit is different than hitting any other piece; as long as everyone takes one hit to fill it and another to clear it, I don't see what the problem is.

When I smoke with friends, it's considered bad form (read: wimpy) to not fully clear the chamber after your first hit, even if it takes multiple lungfuls to clear it. We spend a lot of time coughing, but it's worth it.

Yeah man, IMO, people need to clear there bong rips. That way I don't get any stale smoke and a nice fresh rip of my own. plus, if you don't clear it the person that had to fill the chamber for there hit isn't getting nearly as much as someone taking a hit with the chamber already full.

You are are doing it right. And if you are supplying for the sesh, who are they to tell you how to smoke your weed? Unless it is to help you get a better hit that is.

It's cheap if you're taking turns loading bowls w/ friends because you're getting one two lungfuls in one hit, while everyone who's doing a normal hit is getting just one.

But if you're just going for a huge hit, definately do it this way. My friend and I had independently come up with this method for getting the largest hits possible a few months ago.
