These are a little exparement, they will not get eney ferts or water(and it has been a very dry year).The first pix is when they where planted the 2nd is from yesterday. So far so good. They are some seed that I made A blueberry male and a very strong ind female. These will be just for seed for next years crop.

looks like they are growing preety good, are you saying you just planted the seed and no other care whatsoever is given till harvest, or are those in your flower bed.

Hell yes I just through them on the ground just befor a rain with a little dirt to just cover them,Three days later pop little seedlings.They are on a fence line out in the country on a side road. This is how I plant most of them, some times I take out month old plants. This year I even planted some clones from last years inside grow. You must plant a lot to get just a few at harvest and some times none at all,but most of the time you get at least 3.

interesting, so do you go back and kill the males as a onetime trip before comeing back at harvest? I take it you start like in april and then they are ready about 18 -22 weeks later?

Not all the time. Some times you haft to go back 2 or 3 times to get all the males. This year all I am makeing is seeds so I will lett all the males flower with them until the middle of sept to get a good lot of seeds. The best time here to plant is in feb. That way if we get a early spring the will have time to get a head of the native weeds.THey will not sprout befor it is time.
