Determining is someone is a LEO

Write out a form letter that says this:

I hereby swear and stipulate that I am not an law enforcement officer or other authority figure working to entrap individuals for smoking or possessing marijuana.

Signed,

(Print name of signator here) Date

If they refuse to sign it, they're Leo. You might need to adjust the wording, but I learned this from the xxx industry. Anyone entering the xxx industry is usually asked to sign a similar declaration. Oh, make sure this person shows you valid photo ID to prove he is who he says he is when he signs the document. Note the ID number, etc. on the form for comparison and confirmation should you ever need it as court evidence.

That's a good idea, but if they can lie and smoke pot, I don't see how that would have any legal weight what so ever. I mean, if it worked, wouldn't every drug dealer make their buyers sign that?
