purple haze ... a myth?

i didnt feel like starting another thread for this but has anyone heard of bud that prouces a colored smoke?

my friend told me like 2 years ago that he smoked whith his sisters bf and they smoked bud that was caled "blueberry haze" and the smoke that they exhaled was actualy blue? i always just assumed he was talking out of his ass but is there any bud that could do that or any known way to artificualy make the smoke colored like that?

There are various chemicals that, when burned, will produce different colored smoke. I don't think any of these should be found in weed, however. If I ever exhaled blue smoke I'd stop smoking it, figuring I was getting something I shouldn't.

My guess is that if your friend saw blue smoke it was due to the lighting in the room and his frame of mind. Not the type of weed itself.
