purple haze ... a myth?
you have all heard it "this shits purple haze man"
and you all know the song by jimi hendrix
but what exactly makes purple haze different from any other bud?
is there any way of actualy telling wether or not its purple haze and not just bud with a tint of purple?
is purple haze even anactualy strain of weed?
i just read through a thread and there were some arguments about it and i kinda want to know to becuase almost all dealers just use it as a gimmick trying to convince people that all bud with a tint of purple in it is the infamous "purple haze"Thehulkster321 Reviewed by Thehulkster321 on . purple haze ... a myth? you have all heard it "this shits purple haze man" and you all know the song by jimi hendrix but what exactly makes purple haze different from any other bud? is there any way of actualy telling wether or not its purple haze and not just bud with a tint of purple? is purple haze even anactualy strain of weed? i just read through a thread and there were some arguments about it and i kinda want to know to becuase almost all dealers just use it as a gimmick trying to convince people that Rating: 5

Purple haze is simply the strain HAZE grown out in a northern climate, this causes the buds to turn purple close to harvest... unfortunately there are many strains that react this way to colder climates so there is no real way to tell if what you've got is purple haze unless of course you grew it.

It dosen't increase the potency, it just makes the weed look cooler...
So people can charge more for it

That's right.

There are several other strains of cannabis around that are purple, and much more potent than the classic strains. Blueberry for one has blueish/purple tints and is very potent and delicious.
Any grower can achieve purple leaves in their grow though. "Just keep temps. below 70degF and the purple should come flowing in. It is a sign of stress, but not so much where it effects the sex (eg.hermi or male)."<----A guy swore by that and everytime he grew, he would get purple leaves.
Nothing really special in my eyes as I have smoked purple weed before and it was downright awful.
