i have a plant that looks like it is budding and has a shit load of hairs. some on the top r white and some r turning orange and it has a good amount of crystals too and we thought for sure it was a female but we asked a kid and he said they were male. if it is a female it isn't ready to harvest yet but it is like 6 feet tall so we picked a few buds. can u tell if it is a male or female just by lookin at the buds. and also the buds are all dried out and stuff but they don't smell like weed. oh yea and it has things that look like bulbs of some kind and we just think they r seeds because they r spread out all over the bud. i would post a pic of it but my camerea isn't working.

Those "bulbs" are called pollen sacks. You my friend have a hermaphrodite, you know, male and female. Crazy as it sounds its very possible and judging by what you said its most likely true. Basically its a useless plant. Its up to you if you want to let it keep growin or not. Youll still get SOME buds, but hardly any and they will be very seedy.

Without a picture its hard to tell. But if there are any little green pollen sacks, WITHOUT hairs coming out of them, it is male. If there are things that look similar to the pollen sacks, but WITH little hairs coming out, its female. If you see both on the plant, it is a hermaphrodite. Its as simple as that...

It sounds hermy 2 me. So when there is a bluge without ANY hars it is a male? corect? does this mean males have NO hairs on their balls atall? or still little fuzz?

haha that sounds funny the way u said that. but back to bizness. today i picked a few of them bulbs and sqeezed them in between my fingers and some of them were seeds and some were liquidy. I think they were really undeveloped seeds because they all looked the samebut some were seeds and some just watery shit came out. i also don;t think it is pollen because i always amagined pollen to be sticky and this was just watery. i am about to smoke some of it to see if it gets me high or not.

i read somewhere that if u put them in the microwave or the oven for a while and when the stem is dry enough that it snaps the bud is dry. it said that the smoke wouldn't be very good but it works. how should I dry it? I mean how do u do it?

and also, how should i cure it? just put it in a glass jar for a couple of days or maybe even a week or 2?

lol, damn man...Ok, listen. Dont dry yur bud in the microwave, or the oven. Its useless. You simply evaporate pretty much all the THC..When you dry and cure, first you must clip all the flowers off and hang them UPSIDEDOWN in a DRY warm place. Whereever you hang them MAKE SURE its as dry as possible. Once the stems have became britle (which will take close to a week depending on flower concentration), you can then place them in brown paper bags for a day or two, or you can move them right along into the mason jar curing proccess...

Some of those were seeds because the male pollen sacks must have already burst, your lady was pollenated...

A little cannabis sex info.- A male plant produces pollen sacks. A female plant produces a flower that developes very sticky stuff all over it called trichomes. The male plant grows its pollen sacks until they burst. Once they burst the pollen goes into the air. Then, with the female plant being so sticky, it only needs a small amount of pollen to stick to it and, vuola, your bitch has been pollenated.

Once the female is pollenated it will stop producing flowers and begin its seeding process. The seeds grow until they are mature enough to fall to the ground. Then the seeds grow and the whole process is started all over again...

In other words, if a cannabis plant has seeds on it, it has been pollenated and it wont produce any more bud. Now, your plant has either came in contact with male pollen, became pollenated and is now useless, or it has turned hermi and has begun its crazy seed/bud producing mess which also concludes it as useless...

so ur telling me that i can still smoke it and sell it as shwag (around here we called seeded weed shwag, 20 bux - 1/8 and seedlesss weed nug,50 bux-1/8) andall the other plants around it thtat have buds r all pollenated by the male plants in the area? so i am guessing that the pollen can float in the air for as long as it takes to find a female becuase there is a feild of weed back there and this monster of a plant is all by it self way a way from the reast of the plantsand it is still growing seeds. O and 1 more thing should i just harvest it now then or wait another week or 2? i would say there is at least 6 or 7 oz on this plant, do u think it will get anymore good smokeable bud or is it pretty much finished ? thanx for all the help
