One thing about being a man and having kids. Kids make you vulnerable emotionally and physically in a way that one isnt used to. Men like to feel that they can take care of themselves and suddenly there is this little child and every time he get sick or gets hurt it wounds your heart. It never goes away - you are always going to be attached to them and share their joy and pain. It's great but its hard to be a tough guy

Absolutely true. I think that we, as men, also have a tendency to want to fix things. We can't fix everything though, and suddenly feel totally helpless when our little one is crying in the middle of the night because she's sick and we can't "fix" her.

Ahh kids. Well have 4 in total in two different relationships. HAve 2 girls one turning 13 the other 12. HAve a son who just turned 10. And then a step son who is 17. One thing about kids that I have noticed. NO mater how bad the day went at work when you walk in the door and the kids are happy to see you. Out goes the cloads and in comes the sun.

what gets me in a rage is when the moms try and use the kids against me.
like when they say youll never see your kids again
or get a lawyer if you wanna see them
then the next day they are all sorry and think its forgotten.
women can be way more evil than us men.
they can make us suffer thru our children by not seeing them or paying ridiculous amounts of child support.

By the way, your appreciation for your lil girl and the rest of your children is real touching dude, really. I haven't been blessed with wee ones yet. But you know what they say. Out of the most f*cked up situations come the best fathers.
