I know what you all are talking about.. Sounds like my exwife with my son. When he was finally able to contact me, She had called the cops on him and was on his way to jail. I went to visit every visting day, His mom did to but he made her cry every time she showed up. The day he come out she was there to get him. He told her to kiss his ass and he came home with me and my present wife. We talk almost every day now and he is 20 yrs. old now and we both have a grow going and I just talked to him today to see if he wanted to help me get a cactus grow and a shroom grow up and going. We will probably get started in a month or so. My point being some grown-ups are brain washed and then there are the rest of us. BTW I am 46 yrs. old.

And to this thread... 4 and 1/2 stars. I know people who go through this bullshit rough like you're going throug now, Ganja. I'm lucky my mom was a stoner. But it's true that she only wants what is best for you, but you've got to explain to her that... YOU KNOW THAT SHE ONLY WANTS WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU BUT... she has gotta understand that you will be fine, and that you're really doing nothing wrong and even if you are, she should learn to accpet it rather then despise her son over such a stupid fucking thing. Maybe only toke rarely for awhile, while away from your house... teach her that you CAN be responsible.

You see this is another question i have. Although this is not the case with my mother but it is the case for some of my friends. Their parents say they dont care about the smoking part they just dont want them to get caught so they are not allowed to smoke. Well if thats all they are concerned for why not give your kid a safe enviornment to do it? I have never quite understood this.

Anyways, a good way to get through to your mom could be a written letter.
It's personal, you have time to get all your feelings down, and she can't interrupt. You can take time to sort it all out and say things exactly how you want without rash behavior.
Be sure as well to tell her how much you love her, lots of parents feel a disrespect for authority is from a lack of their nurturing so they overcompensate in situations like this. Assure that it isn't so, and that you appreciate all she has done for you, while stating your feeling of injustice at the situation.
Be respectful and mature in handling it, but be firm in what you believe.

Okay well my Nazi mother who i have absolutly no respect for anymore tried to get me to go take a drug test today. I told her that I didnt need to because i would not pass it. Well you would think she would appreaciate me being honest but no instead the fucking bitch threatens to call the police on me and now I am grounded for a month or more. I really love her but for this i can never truely respect her as a person. Another thing is, is that she smoked when she was my age and now she has to freak out on me about it. I really have no respect for any adult like this because they are total hypocrits and i am really really pissed off right now. Another thing i cant stand about adults is that because I am 16 they think i am less of a person than they are. Why should they have so many more rights than me i have a brain that functions better than alot of our idiot adults we have out there *cough* George bush *cough*. Ageism is really dumb and for all the adults that think they are supirior to me because they have lived longer can go fuck themselves i am seriously sick of this.
