My mom is very similar to that except for the fact that she didn't smoke. I have been grounded for about 3 months now and have been caught 2 times since Christmas. What sucks even more is I got grounded for another month today because I accidentally slept through school. Parents can be annoying as hell but I could never not respect my mother seeing as she has given me a place to live, food, and clothing for 14 years. The best thing to do is just refuse to not smoke and be honest with them. I am open with my parents about my smoking now but it hasn't seemed to help much. But your mom smoke she will probably be understanding as long as you keep your grades up and remain respectful (or atleast fake it). Just show her that the antidrug people are full of it and she will begin to accept it.

HAHA yeah i actually considered that once but i wouldent want to waste my precious grass on her. I asked her why she drank wine and she said 'because i like the taste and it relaxes me'. Well i told her thats why i smoke weed and she says 'No when i did it i was always just out of it, you cant think when your high, and it makes you dumb'. She also is sure i will have cancer in 6 months. Yet she dosent seem to care about my sister who smokes a pack of cigs a day and drinks everynight in our house which really pisses me off.

Aww damn man. Well my mum's said to me "If you keep doing this stuff you'll probably have overdosed on heroin or something in a couple of years" I couldn't fuckin' believe it! I had to walk off before I got too pissed lol.

the thing about parent hypocrism is that they didnt know the truth about things when they did all theyre stuff. they didnt know cigerettes were bad or that anything could have a bad consquence... so now that they see that some of the things were hurtful (not weed) they think everything is harmful and bad...
