Cruel " Tax Cuts For The Rich" Strike Again
http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories...TAM&SECTION=US
First off, I'd like to note that the MSM report here lumps "tax cuts" in with "spending spree"; as if cutting taxes were the same as spending. At any event, what I'd like our Democrats to explain is how the states are now flush with cash when back in 2004 one of the left-wing mantras was that President Bush's tax cuts and spending priorities had left the states strapped for cash.
Just where did all this extra money come from??? We know that it couldn't have come from a growing economy spurred by tax cuts, so I'd like our lefties to explain where the money tree is growing...:thumbsup:amsterdam Reviewed by amsterdam on . Obviously we can't expect our government to provide things like health care to citizens regardless of income, or education, or silly little things like equal protection. Fuck that. This isn't a socialist state after all, this is America damn it! And if the government says we're doing fine, well, that's good enough for me, questioning is un-patriotic!
Keep up the good work Amsterdam

I dont want the government taking more of my money so they can give everyone substandard healthcare like they have in canada,F that. And if you think money can solve the education problem look at D.C they have one of the highest per student cost in the country but they do the worst in testingand graduation rates.Lets just throw more money at the school system and see if it helps rather than fixing the real problem.

The lower brackets don't need tax cuts because they get their money back anyways.
If we were all smart, we'd watch for a few years and see what we actually pay in taxes. Then, change our paperwork so we don't get the taxes taken out on payday. However, instead of spending that money put it into savings and let it collect interest. Then when you file, use the savings to pay your taxes. You get the interest as opposed to you giving the government an interest free loan.
BTW...government is the problem not the solution.
