Hello lw
I'am a son of two hillbilly from Tenn. & Ky.When I was a tot my gram show me to Save the seed from your vegs and to dry them on news papper in the attic for next year.We lived in a 4 season climate and now I live in a 2 season
But I still do the same in growing, you have 2 diffident grow seasons.Spring its tomatos, peppers lettuce, cus and in the fall its orka and hardy plants.
Every thing in the garden that you didnt eat{the stalks & vines}ect. You feed to the cows & pigs & Chickens. Here's the good part, what the cows eat go in one end and comes out the other.and in the spring all of us kids had to clean
out the barn and spead it out over the graden before they turned the soil under.Great fertilizer for tomatos and everything in between. So the next time
you get a good veg save the seeds dry them and plant them you will be a real
organic Hillbilly Gardener.
