thanks for sharing lowwryder...those look great. I hope to see more results from you, thanks again...http://www.hygronomics.com hint hint...
Well that just shows how well you can grow indoors...great job.
I made some more head way on the nursery...planning lettuce, spinach, cilantro, and basil in dutch leach trays, and some tomato pepper combo's in hydro buckets...after that I am going to add varities of peppers in homemade dwc and drip units.
I plan on raising seedlings in a homemade ebb and flow tray...so the end of this year is going to be real busy for me...starting seeds this week in rockwool. It's great a few of you all have chosen to take part in this experiment/alternative. peace latewood

Hey guys, thought I'd pop in and share a review of a tomato strain! Hee hee... at least it's only like $1.50 for about 200 seeds compared to $100 for 10 seeds like our OTHER favorite plant!
Patio Tomato- Garden Red.
Moved this dude in from the garden in September... it had been really slow outdoors and hadn't flowered yet... bad soil in my yard... VERY wet. Virtually as soon as it had acclimated to my flower room it showed flowers and I have been having to re-chain it on a regular basis because it just keeps growing... Very thick and dark leaves compared to many mater varities I've seen. Fruit is the size of a billiards ball, very deep red, perfectly round, thin-skinned, and exceptionally sweet. Not like a grape tomato, but like a really good beefsteak.
Here's some fruit and the last pic is what happened to them!
It is STILL setting flowers and I'm hesitant to bug-bomb again until I see more fruit form.
Latewood, do you find cilantro to be very difficult to grow as compared to other herbs? I have NOT been able to grow it indoors. Outdoors it thrives but ugh, indoors, forget it. I remember when I worked at the now-defunct hydro facility, the basil and arugula did quite well but again, the cilantro was so bad we just gave up on it as a product.
Seems that it is the first thing that bugs attack too. No wonder... just shows they have good taste!

The LST'd peruvian chile, the retarded jalapeno, & the baby dorset naga. Look at the stem on that jalapeno, it could probably support my weight damn.

LOVE the peruvians. I have a 'thing' for purple-leafed plants. My entire front garden is a collection of plants with either purple or maroon leaves, or BLACK flowers, and ferns.
Those chilis are going in there in the spring! Now if only I could happily grow Soma's Rock Bud or Lavender in the front yard....
