its addictive just like every great, enjoyable thing in the world. If you like sex chances are you're going to keep doing it. Same applies to weed. But its NOT physically addictive

but look at it like candy or television, if their available to you then your going to want to eat or watch it.

i have a stash and all.. i usually smoke every day, but i decided to give myself a break this week for school... no problems at all.. sometimes a little crabby, but after i take my mind off it, (which is easy) no worries.

Just because YOU aren't addicted to it doesn't mean it isn't addictive. I smoke cigarettes on ocassion but am not addicted. Does that mean they aren't addictive? I spent most of the day doing absolutely nothing but thinking about just how badly I want some weed right now...because I'm addicted.

It is def. not addictive for certain people. If you can tell yourself to stop than you'll stop. I smoked for 3 months just about everyday. Football was coming up and that meant a drug test. I quit and didn't smoke for a year. Of course its such an amazing feeling so i just started again this month...:rasta:

going by your definition of addiction, then im pretty safe in making the assumption that your addicted to a majority of the following:
television
junk food
candy
videogames
the computer
music
soda

the correct term for marijuana, and all of the above things is habit forming, not addictive.
