So I have a few generic 80mg and 20mg OxyContin. I dont normally take these pills, but if your looking for a high these arn't it - the only things these pills will give if taken irresponsibly is an addiction (nuff preaching). Now, The brand name Locs (oxy), as we call them, dont gel up when you snort them or crush them and add them to water (like I do); the generic do gel though. My question is, does anyone know why?

I've taken 1 brand name 80mg loc and added it to 60ml water (note: oxycodone is extremely water soluable) with no problems ... the water consistancy stayed the same. I added 2 generic 80mg locs to 60ml of water and the water thickened and turned almost oil like in consistancy. A friend of mine said they do the same thing when snorted (I dont know, I dont snort them). I'm thinking it is most likely the glues, binder, and/or fillers in the generic that make for the gel like substance. What do you guys think?

I filtered my 160mg solution last night through a coffee filter just to see what i would catch. Aside from a little filler I did also catch some of this gel like stuff. It was very slick and stringy (if you pressed your fingers together and pulled them apart).

Very weird. I just thought I would post for other's experiences.
