Trichomes are Ready "DO Green Leaves = Bad taste??"
Will it make it taste nasty, only 1 or 2 leaves on each plant has stated to yellow, but looking at the trichomes under the microscope they appear to be ready. about 70 cloudy - 30 amber.
Its day 51 of flower, for they last two and a half weeks they've been on water only. Admittedly i realised after i stopped feeding there had been a mix up with the ferts.
So... under instruction i flushed big time until the water ran clear. But still no yellowing
.
Im now weighing up whether im better to wait for more yellowing or go off the trichomes and crop...
Wot d'y think...
And of course many, many thanks.

Sticky, by the looks of the bud give them another five-six days, as for the taste, I'll be posting a drying/curing/aftercare thread soon in the indoor section.
It can be resolved.
You should use clear water from two weeks before the harvest, and stop completely for the last three/four days, letting the plant sweat a bit. Also using/releasing remaining nutrients.
When you cut em down and hang em upsidedown, the stomata's (lil openings on the back of the leaves) will close down and the drying process will actually be slowed down for a bit.
Fluid circulation (+remaining nuts) will go on while drying, and after two and a half/three weeks about 70-75% of the water will have vaporised, hopefully dried evenly over the surface of the bud. The taste will be way better. Give it some time.

If you are sure of the trich color, and dont want a totally couchlock buzz, then you should harvest. It is uncommon for the leaves to have not started dying off this late into flower, and I really can not say why they are not, but it should not cause the weed to taste bad with a proper cure. Have you tried cutting off a small piece of bud and air drying it for a couple days and sampling it?
