in the 1980s, when the first drug-tests started being applied to us truckdrivers, a friend of mine, (working at my same trucking company) flunked a drug test for THC ... (these were flawed tests, in those days, and he was definitely an innocent man) he was a good Christian husband and father, about 55 years old, I would guess ... even the owner of the company knew it was bogus, but the insurance company demanded his firing ... they never got the chance, he felt so stygmatized by the thought people would think him a pothead, he committed suicide ... true story, and another fatality in the 'War on Drugs' ........
