Man, no offense, but you'll need maybe a year or two of braces. That is fuck all! I wore them for 10 fucking years! My one front tooth was turning sideways, and I had a huge overbite. Painful? Yes, very much so, but this was well over 10yrs ago now that I had them, so a lot has changed since then.

I had to go in once every 2 weeks, have them tightened, and my mouth would hurt for the next 2 weeks. By the time I went in again, my mouth had just gotton better and I had to endure it again. Keep in mind my teeth were fucked, and the dentist I did see, was very old fashioned (cheap), and did things in in old fashioned way.

We didn't have much dental coverage then either, so it costs my folks about $500 every month just to keep my mouth in order. I still wear a cemented in bottom brace, behind my bottom teeth, to this day. It's never coming out unless I want my mouth to go bad again, but I hardly notice it.

In your case though, no, it probably won't hurt anymore then going to a normal dental checkup. Yours just need to be pulled together by the looks of it, so it won't be bad.
