well I made a new thread, I had forgotten about this one.. so.... hopefully that won't piss anyone off, but basically, I've gotten rid of the plants I had, and I've started over. I put the ones in my backyard, I figure they are going to die anyways, so... w/e, see how they do there.

I now have 2 500w halogen lights. Are they any good for growing? They are also very hot however, right now it's 96 degrees, it's normally around that temperature. I'm kinda worried about that. Maybe I should get some CF's or something. The halogens only cost me 20 bucks, so it's not like I'm out much. I replaced the 2.. or 3, I was growing and I started over, I germinated them, and put them in the pots today, so I'll let you guys know how it goes if they sprout. Temps are a big concern right now tho... I think I gotta get some new lights.


btw, I'm growing 8 plants, so would I really need 16 CF lights? That sounds like a lot. The growing space is probably about... 7ft high, by 4x4. I wasn't planning to let them get too big, I think they'll fit in there ok tho, if I have to I can find somewhere else to put them.
