Too hot?
well not sure why, but 5 of my 8 died. I'm not too worried about it tho, I only have 4 lights right now, and I just bunched them together and put them on the remaining 3. Which are doing very very good. They are now... 9 days old, and they have 2-3 sets of leaves on each. about 3-5 inches tall. very green too. The highest the temp has gotten is 90.1 which it's actually at right now. If it's cold outside, the a/c dosn't come on, and even tho the rooms temp is still fine, for w/e reason the closet gets hotter, but there's not an a/c duct in there so it gets the air from my room, which dosn't make much sense but w/e. I tried the home made c02 thing (sugar water + yeast) and it seemed to work alot. withen 20 hours, it got a whole new set of leaves. First day I've tried it, so I'll see how it looks tomm. Be awsome if it's like that everyday.
kryptobs2000 Reviewed by kryptobs2000 on . Too hot? I have two 125w lights I bought home depot, they say they are for growing plants, they are pretty hot however. I'm growing these in my closet, so far they are about 8 inches tall. They're in Miracle Grow vegetable mix potting soil, or something like that. Problem is, it gets to be about 80-86F in the daytime, at night it's around 75 I guess. I have a small fan circulating air in there, not sure if it's dropped the temps any tho. I think they are starting to die, but i'm not sure of what, I Rating: 5
