halogen do well in flowering , i have a freind who done a ghetto grow with flurecent tubing for veg and 4x 500watt halogen for flowering he grew 10 nebula seeds and hic yeid was exellent , the only prob with halogen is heat but if you have the space with enough ventilation they do ok but the are not as good as hps , no where near it but if financies are low and you have the space they do the job, cause we are talking £5 to£10 for a 500 watt and thats pennies to grow a good smoke

Halogen growing? =) ok look, i got this 500w halogen lamp, it's abought 11.000 lumens and 3500k. i grew 8 plants under it in soil, tallest one was 1.56 cm and i got almost 40 gr of dried buds from each plant. this is like the 3rd best smoke i've tasted in my life! the whole thing took 3 1/2 months, 35 days at 24 light and rest in 12/12. so why.. just why are you people telling me halogen doesnt work when it does?? the colour might not be perfect and lots of lights got higher lumens per watt. im not gona Rating: 5
