Oh, and my ideas may not be new, but I came to the conclusions on my own. Thanks for the input, though.

Wow I read the whole thing. Are you a Buddhist? Or Hindu?? Pretty interesting. I'm surprised I read that I didn't take my medication today.

Gnostics, however, acknowledge that there is a higher power, we just don't have any organized religion so they lump us all together.

I respect your ideas. Personally i was baptised catholic so i guess thats my religion although i dont practice it. Like i believe jesus was real for sure. i think the world could easily be better off following his teachings. And jesus pretty much didnt like big organized religions. He wanted everybody to worship God in his own special way. Imo jesus might not have been the son of God. He could have been some crazy philosopher guy. Also i think the idea of God is a little messed up. I sort of believe what gnostics say and that is that the God of the old testament is different from the one Jesus describes. In my opinion i honestly think the ancient gods we hear about could have been extraterrestrials. Some human form some not. I mean how else could there be complex relationships between gods in greek mythology? Or how else in the bible could there be stuff like 'My god is stronger than your god' and then have some kind of proof. ahh im rambling. I also think that the Church leaders distorted some of the bible to remain in power. Like i think Jesus was a lot more anit-establishment than the bible lets on. And in the words of my old history teacher ,"If jesus came down to earth today, he would not recognize the catholic church."
