Black Gold is the best SOIL that I know of...

You can grow with MG soil.. But it will force you to become an expert grower.. cause you are going to have so many problems that need to be over come... But the only thing that seperates a great from a newbie is a great grower has FUCKED up a lot and learned to over come all his/her fuck ups...

    love

    AND NOW YOU KNOWM

promix from premier horticulture, sunshine mix, ocean forest and light warrior from fox farms. those should all be available out west. fox farms is based in california and premier horticulture exports to all of the us. just make sure you add dolimitic lime to whatever you use(1-2 tbsp per gal soilmix) i should put the thing about the lime in my sig. i seem to post something about using lime 10 times a day! it is that important imo.

Yeah, using dolomitic lime (garden lime) saved me from a lot of headaches with premixed potted soil. The longer you use the soil the more acidic it gets, especially with heavy feeding. I used to have all kinds of problems with yellowing and burned looking leaves. It got REALLY nasty when I used prefertilized potting soil and added additional ferts, difficult to track the problem down at first.

Two tbls of garden lime per gallon of soil will be the most important additive you can bless your plants with, IMO.

Didn't have a choice. My grows were outside in the sun and in a place that buckets had to be used. I couldn't bud them indoors for many reasons but with a $70 setup I could create over 40 clones a month to finish during the winter months or beginning summer grows.

Besides, I like soil. The taste may not be up with hydro with a flush, but the quality of the weed was far superior due to the sun. The sun makes the weed so much stronger than HPS lights, from identical clones. I had a guy offer me $75 for about three grams of Papaya if that gives you any idea.

OH CRAP! Miracle Grow Potting Mix is what I use.. So MG is bad? Why? What's wrong with it? First I get mites for some unknown reason and now my soil sucks =/
