how big is your pot? water it every 4 days or when the soil is almost completely dry. Water around the edges so the roots can expand outwards reaching for water and make sure the water comes out through the drainage holes. gl with your grow. later :stoned:

I was just looking at some of the post about healthy plants size and Iâ??m a little concern with my plants. My 3 weeks old plants are healthy with a very nice green color but they donâ??t seem to be growing enough. (They donâ??t have lotâ??s of leaves and tend to stay quite small) They are under a full spectrum fluorescent (24/0) at about 1 to 2 inch from the top. I started them from seeds. Iâ??m using the Ultimate Potting Mix from Pro Mix. POSSIBLE PROBLEM: Rating: 5

I tested the water again today and it's at 8.3 pH. I dropped it to 6.3 and will water again in 3 days with the 6.3 water. (I already gave them a lot of the 8.3 water this morningâ?¦ Should I be scared or they should be fine for 3 days?)

Still, I would really appreciate a definite answer as for the perfect PH for growing in a soil medium.

The soil bag says that: PRO-MIX is recommended for plants requiring a growing pH between 5.5 to 7.0 so it sounds right to me.
