Skink Reviewed by Skink on 02-19-2006. new bong idea... what it is, is a steam roller, that has water/ice filter to sooth the smoke, so you get the smoothness of a normal toke, instead of choke with conventional steam rollers. ok so first you'd have to gather materials... 2 acrylic tubes (look at parts list for specific info) , about a foot long of hose, it is imparitive you don't just use thin fish tubing, 2 disks of same material the same diamter as the bigger acrylic tube, non-smell caulk, or hotglue or somethign similar to put peices Rating: 5

i have plenty of bongs... i just haven't made nothing new in awhile and this came to me while creating brown mountain the other day....

It's just a bit overcomplicated, that's all. Instead of having a bowl and stem on the body of the bong and the tube coming off of that, you've put the bowl and stem inside the mouthpiece tube, making it harder to reach, make, or fix, and offering no clear advantage over a regular bong.

Keep thinking of ideas, but this one ain't the one.

Good idea, I would move the bowl to the body of the bong and put a disk with a whole in the middle on the bottom on the mouth piece pipe to work as an ice catch, because you still have not explaned that part of it.

to me it looks like the bowl is in the steam roller part.
shouldn't it be down by that gatorade cap?

how will the smoke go from the bowl to the container ther is no force pulling the smoke thro the water

yes the smoke will go through the water.. ok... ima try to break it down, but i'm kinda high... ok when you suck on the tube you're supposed to use to hit it (if you do not know what this tube is, slap yourself for not knowing how to hit it, and then ask) it's going to create suction in the tube and in the main body, but becasue the bowl is directly linked to the water (meaning the smoke can't just go around this tube into your lungs) the air must come from somewhere it's only physics... because the gatorade cap is closed, it won't come from there, so the air will come in through bowl, bringing the smoke from the burning bud with it, down through the tube and bubble up through the water and into the top of the bottom tube where it will be sucked out through the steam roller portion. if this can't work, then neither could the conventional water bong, it's essientially the same... the only air intake is absessed under the water, when you suck through the mouth peice it creates suction in the body, thus pulling it in through the stem, under the water where it bubbles up into the body of the bong... i'm planning on making it whenever i can, just to see if my idea works... if it does i will provide pictures, both of the finished product and the finished product in use..
