You can buy a 150 watt cfl that runs of 40 watt fixture for 9.99 at Home DEpot.
The socket is 4 bucks and the cord is another 4. dollars. So for
20 bucks...you can put your own 150 watt cfl light together.
I'm about to buy 2 of those set ups and put them together. So I'll post a how too when I get everything together in a couple dayz.
Also I will be making a reflective cover that will be mounted over the lights, so any light that go's up will bounce back down.I'll make this with cardboard and mylar...But it has to be mounted far enough away to not catch fire.Infact cardbored isn't the best thing to use.Maybe a sheet of aluminum painted white or covered in mylar(havn't desided yet)
Hello J DOG, What I did is got some aluminum flashing(from home supply) that is 14" wide and 26" long and cut and bent to make a rectangle shaped hood that measures 14"long x 5" wide(a little wider at bottom) x 5" high. Then I put a hole in the middle for a light socket, put it in, Then I got a fitting that screwws into socket and has 2 light socket that kind of looks like an upside down Y. Now I have a hood with 2-150 watt cfl's. I made 3 of these and they are working great. I will try to get a pic on here soon.

My local walmart has the 150's for $8.96ea.
