Buy Envirolites... I read here a couple of minutes ago, that eBay Item number: 4441030121 is the same Envirolites, manufactured and sold from China.
When the bulb says 18/75Watts... here's the deal:::
18 Watts ... it consumes...
75 Watts ... it's comparable to a 75W incandescent bulb

Ok- Need the real story on cfl's!!!
when u say its compareable to a 75 watt incandecant does that mean it will work as well as a 75 watt incandecant??? well heres the real ?tion- i need enough wattage to supply 2 sets of 2 plants in 2 different places. i was thinking like 4 bulbs for each area but if the bulbs- 25/100 watt- are too small do i need to just add more??? and if i did have 4 of them would it be the same thing as a 400 watt hps/mh (excluding all of the little goodies that the hps/mh gives u)??? and how many lumens would i be able to get out of them??? thanks

I'm using 7 of the 42/150 cfl's, each has 2700 lumens, My 8 plants are doing very good right now. When they get bigger I dont know yet but may have to use more. These are just for vegging, I will use hps for flowering.

HPS = high pressure sodium
You can buy a 150 watt cfl that runs of 40 watt fixture for 9.99 at Home DEpot.
The socket is 4 bucks and the cord is another 4. dollars.So for
20 bucks...you can put your own 150 watt cfl light together.
I'm about to buy 2 of those set ups and put them together.So I'll post a how too when I get everything together in a couple dayz.
Also I will be making a reflective cover that will be mounted over the lights, so any light that go's up will bounce back down.I'll make this with cardboard and mylar...But it has to be mounted far enough away to not catch fire.Infact cardbored isn't the best thing to use.Maybe a sheet of aluminum painted white or covered in mylar(havn't desided yet):thumbsup:
