Plant Problem - Too much food?

So I transplanted one yesterday and flushed another. The one I transplanted isn't looking so hot though. Does it take a while to adjust after the shock? I checked my pH at it was right about 7 for both plants and the water.

Thats a ph prob my freind. Do you allow them to dry out in between watering at the bottom of the containers? if not you get different ph at different zones of the soil which can cause problems. The best way to water is with a garden sprayer. Keep the surface roots damp and the bottoms of the pots dryish.

I have grown thousands of plants in promix and they love it. Never had any problems. Never use lime either myself. I soak rock wool in water to wash it out when I use it also.

So when I went to check on my plants last night I noticed that now there are some purple stems. Is that a Phosphorous deficiency? And if so what should I do?

The purple stem I saw was on the bottom. The top looks real nice. I will post pics later tonight.

It does look like a phosphorus deficiency. Could be wrong, though.

If possible with enzymes to discard of the burned roots. After that... set it on 5.8PH and 0.9EC.

I recommend you call Hanna they sell a meter that is better then any you will find in a grow shop for a third of the price. Its the Hanna 9044 and they can direct you to your local distributer who will mail it to you for 120 dollars. It tests ph temp ppm and microseimens. Top notch continuos monitorer. I called up Hanna a few months ago to see if they could make one with a remote control and I was told about this new meter they are putting out which can be checked via telephone. Its 540 usd and the phone attachment is an extra twenty. Sure a bit pricey but tell me thats not cool. The people at Hanna are very nice and will help you with your needs.
