if alcohol were invented recently it would be illegal. its just because it has been very much apart of recent history and culture, and looked on in a more positive light that cannabis in the past...it is more sociably accepted. i personaly love weed the most out of any drug...its almost like a perfect drug

Alcohol... probably the first thing that comes to mind is how drunkeness has such an effect on you. I mean your personality that it, with weed that *usually* isn't a problem. I use the term *usually* lightly too, an example would be your stoned descision to go to McDonalds and buy 4 burgers, verses the sober descision to go with 1 or 2. When your drunk though... the fact you inhibitions go out the window is a big one. The drunk decsision to insult the people closest to you (... and thats putting the possibilitys lightly) rather then to just chill is an example. I prefer psycadelic highs anyway, something that could be considered a trip. Plus, I don't enjoy hang overs, that kinda sucks. I wouldn't say I hate alcohol, because at least whatever you do you have a good time doing it, but I don't like what it can do to people...

I love a good drink, would prefer to toke up though but a good piss-ups always fun. Like most things though it's somthing which has to be kept as a now and then type thing rather than a nightly binge.

nah, i used to love alcohol, love it...and then i was introduced to weed, and realized alcho-ma-hol doesnt even come close to the awesomeness of weed...so i didnt drink for a good 6-7 months...now i drink (socially) and partys and whatnot...but yes when your drunk i hate it when your to the point where your just like fuck it, and everything you do you think theres a good reason to do it...just punched a friend in the jaw??? you probly had a good reason to do it...*until* you sober up, and realize you looked like a total douche bag last night

or the time i got pissed off at a friend, driving down an old highway at 2 in the morning...regrettably drunk as hell...and i kicked him out of my car...6 miles away from the nearest form of civilization, no cell phone, no fucking shoes on, 3 ciggarettes, and no lighter...he walked about 6.3 miles to his house...and man i felt bad about that, i went back and looked for him that night but he apparently was jumping into the ditch everytime a car came past...i dunno, i deserved to get the shit beat out of me for that, esp considering this kid i would trust my life with in a fucking heartbeat...

moral of the story: getting drunk and pissy is never fun, something bad ALWAYS happens when you get a large group of drunk people togethor.

I once got SOOO drunk that sometime between 12 and 5 AM i pissed all over my friends bed. And when i say pissed on, i dont mean i was sleeping in it and pissed myself, i mean i was sleeping on the floor, got up, dropped my pants, and pissed all over his bed. The really bad part was that he was sleeping in it. umm.............yeah..........that wasnt cool.........

But other than that and a couple of bad Bourbon Street experiences, I still like alcohol....i do love a good eighth a lot more though.

I think a mix of alcohol and weed can be a good thing, cos the weed somehow controlls the effects of the alcohol. but alcohol on its own is trouble.

alcohol is not good. I have completely stopped drinking alcohol. And I've seen how it can completely ruin people's lives, and the way they think. And alcohol is something that really does kill brain cells.

I dont HATE alcohol, but I dislike it. Sure, its good to make your own brew, but if I ever drank it again I wouldnt buy it from the stores (cos of all the added chemicals). Although I do contradict myself by having a glass of wine/champagne on special occassions, like weddings and stuff like that.
Alcohol just doesnt agree with me if I have more than a pint or so - I used to get so drunk that my body just rejects it now. But there was this one time where I was at some rich dudes 50th in Cornwall, and bottles of expensive red wine straight from France were being passed around... so of course I got pissed on the expensive stuff! Then me and dad just sat on the wall, perving at all the rich bitches.
