are you saying that you abuse painkillers but are against acid? In my opinion pain meds are worse than acid, LSD may be more powerful but some people take pain meds way to far.

As I understand, the effects can take anywhere from 1-4 Hours to take hold. so I don't know if that's the best idea.

effects take up to an hour to kick in most of the time, last time i tripped it was only like half an hour. and yeah, i wish i was your best friend too so i oculd trip.

I recall one day back in my junior year I had four pieces of gum in my cold backpack, each with ten hits of some of the cleanest feeling liquid I have ever had the pleasure of consuming in a hypothetical world.

A friend (who had never done anything illegal in his life) decides that I owe him two pieces of gum from earlier that morning while getting a notebook out, so he ganks them.

Needless to say my friend was very confused from noon on out. Never once flipped, just enjoyed the crap out of it.

But 20 hits for a first time seems insane.

It's all about the levelheadedness of the person you're dealing with. Unless he's rich or has a sorry person selling to him, I really doubt he will have any physical setbacks. A two-hit trip (if the hits are decent) will be something most definitely unreal. Easily goes out of hand.

Truthfully, I think 100ug is too great an estimate for one hit's dosage. When Hoffmann speaks of the ampoules of LSD they distributed from Sandoz, many reports spoke of trips that were very intense and extreme. Now that's just one hit?

A friend of Hoffmann's tried a measured 60ug. I trust these scientific guys to measure correctly, and the report this guy gives seems like what we would describe as a '2-3 hit' trip.

Anyhow, besides the point. If your friend can be responsible about things and is not one to muck things up, don't worry. The painkillers are worse for him to tell you the truth.

But driving your first time isn't smart. While I can easily drive under just about any psychedelic situation, some people don't have the nerve to.
