    Recommended lights for budding poll

Alright guys, how about some personal opinions on this question: Should I bud my plants under a 400 watt MH light or a 400 HPS light?

HPS is not as good as people tend to think. They grow under the HPS and it does good so they think it is, but they never know what the buds would look like under the MH. I use the MH for both veg and budding. 1000 watts. Sanclem over at marihemp did a test. I think it was him anyway, and he did both at the same time, with the same strain, and the MH buds where bigger and tighter then the HPS. Personaly, I think both at the same time would be best. Some people will claim HPS is is the shit, but my expirence says MH is the shit. Actualy, the sun is the shit, but that's a mute point indoors.

SanClem is right! I advise you to listen to a true Guru such as SanClem.
Metal Halide is the ONLY way to go. More USEABLE light for plant. Bigger BUDS (vegative matter) not fluffy flowers.
Like SanClem I now use my old HPS units for door stops!!!

both hps and mh are best when they are combined, but if you want more chlorophyl in your buds with less thc and you are`nt concerned about potency, and you are growing a commercial crop for selling, i say yes to mh only grows.
but if you want dense flwers and high potency conniseur bud, i would use both

I have done blind test at a few sites and mh always wins. If you want high buck for you bud and you want more bud. It comes down to the scales and $$$$ per oz or pounds.
Not on hear say or here say, Chuck a 1/4 pound in the BBQ and watch the price go way back up.
hps make good door stops and the bulbs center makes a great knife sharpner.
sanclem or oldsanclem duh lost my pass word Its a sign of age
