    rockwool germination.

    hi there,
I have recently germinated white widow seeds in 1" rockwool cubes and they are currently unde fluros.
Does any body know how long i should leave them before transplanting them to lava rock under 400w hps in a flood and drain system.
Also does anybody have an opinion on whether to go with a 24 or 18 hr veg cycle. thanks for any help

go right to the rocks, give em maybe 2 weeks veg and then go to 12/12...I always used the 24/0, but I hear good things about 18/6....WW is great, at 7 weeks its all up and heady, at 10 weeks, it'll lock you to a couch...Mine really loved the nitrogen in bloom, otherwise they yellowed badly by week 5 of flower...

I use 24/0, they do grow faster with 24 hours of light.

Thanks for that info toker. I'm growing ww right now and you're right they do love nitrogen.

you should replant your cubes into your medium a day or 2 after roots are penetrating outer cube (when you can see them)...

I veg 3-4 weeks, maybe longer depending on how long it takes to pre-flower...Why you ask? cause..........

... "NO MALES" go in my 'flower room'...

Once sex is pre-determined, you can kill males(or stash them under fluoros in the dungeonwith very low nutes, for breeding...forget breeding) Now.... once you have culled males...timeout! Important note below!

Now here is where maturity and patience, plays it's biggest part in your future yield and the ease at which you arrive at said yield. Your female plants can be,,,what? Mother plant/s......So, A cloning we will go:thumbsup:

Now you take cuttings and in 10-14 days you are 10 weeks away from harvesting all female's...getit? 2 weeks veg/8 weeks bloom bBBaamMM!!! Pure GOO...later.lw:smokin:

I find that for the first 2 weeks 24/7 works great to get the frst 6-7 sets of leaves, but then starts to slow down. After these 2 weeks i put it on 18/6 and it starts speeding up agen, so as the plants get older, they DO benefit from a dark period, because even though they love as much light as you give them, they still need to feel that they are growing outside as they normally would be.
I wish I didn\'t flame people and then ask to be banned because I miss this place

Our new friend is not ready for breeding...Yet!

I know for a fact what it is like to be new at growing with all kinds of fabricating talent and 18 plants and males stashed here and mothers there...
bubblers and aero-machines and cloning and hermies and keeping up with your RODI filter's so you have good water quality...Many don't have the space...

so, I said, forget about breeding...see?

Gen, It is funny...I try to grow pure and always get a few seeds...somehow...so,I quit thinking about breeding for now...I do have One strain I created...Misty Blue x Blueberry Jack Herer...Will be available, shortly, at a seedbank I have been working with. This strain is super-easy to clone/root, so It's is a keeper, I also have a Northern Lights#2
