 I started growing the first 6 days without a grow light and was instead using the sun, but of course as we all know that causes stretching.
 
 Long story short, I was going to get a 400hp from InsideSun.com but went with 2x250 HPS for the extra 100 watts and small price difference. As far as the quality of the company, I went through hell and back to get my tracking number but I did get my lights promptly (I just had no idea where they were in the mail!) and my plants couldn't be happier.
 
 I noticed 3x the growth in the first few days.
 
 I went with the Econo refurbished lights with the one year warranty:

 i went to our local Hydroponics store...ALL the info you need, plus reasonable prices along with $$ back guarentee....
 
 Worked wonders with the HPS...switched to MH for flowering, and loved it even more!
