Snapping of the weed usually means you're either: smoking a seed, a stem, or the bud that you purchased, was not flushed before harvest. Unflushed buds, usually with chems., will make a snapping sound when smoking.

Like everyone else has said, you probably had a seed in there. I can't stand the taste of seeds. I make sure every one of them is picked out while rolling a joint or packing a bowl.

I was reading Dr. Ivory's research on spermatozoa, and for every seed you smoke, you lose 10,000,000 sperm cells, so if you heard three pops then you lost 30,000,000 sperm heads. :stoned:
