I've done quite a bit of diphenhydramine (100-350mgs) recently, and have yet to have a visual hallucination. I'll hear all sorts of stuff that I know isn't real, and mis-hear things that people are saying; but I've never seen anything other than a quick flash of color or white dots floating around in front of my eyes.

I'm curious to know what actual hallucinations are like, but I doubt I'm ever gonna take enough of this stuff to find out, because I've never found it to be a very pleasant trip. It always just makes me want to go to sleep (note: I didn't say it makes me sleepy, I just get bored of it and want to go to bed), because my muscles are getting all twitchy, which pisses me off.

God I can't wait to get a job so I can stop worrying about drug tests and start smoking again.

It causes very similar effects although I'm sure Datura would be stronger... and scarier.
