better yet they can send you books from home.
books will save you from yourself.gotta have em.
that was the first time i read the bible.
after reading it i felt like life was more meaninglessfriendowl Reviewed by friendowl on . Prison Experiences Has anyone actually gone to prison or heard of first-hand experiences inside of one? I'm not talking the local jail, I mean federal prison. How many of those myths (like getting it up the ass) are true and false? How does the society operate in there? Is there really as much male sexuality in there as in the movies? Rating: 5Love is patient and kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. i did a small strech 1ce like 6 months not long atall but some of ppl tht had done some of the worst stuff were the nicest of ppl i saw 1 man who had been put in for murder cry in his arms and have the piss taken out of him just because he was crying no1 even tried to help him but the reason he was crying was because his ex wife was taking his kids to another fucking country and there was nothing he could do about it i was threatened to be stabbed a few times the thing u have to remember is tht u never tell ne1 inside what u were like in the outside world and u never tell ne of the guards there what went on if u told ne1 what u are like out side and u pissed off the wrong person he would either get sum1 to kill ur family or find out ur weakness and just do there worst but u cant even fight back due to them having friends on the outside tht would screw u up big time if u done neithing back to them it is a awfull place to go

The CO's (we got in trouble if we called them guards) were outnumbered in our prison like 1 co for every 100 inmates...they could care less...most think we all are nothing in there anyway...consider the type of person that applies for a job such as a correctional officer...most are mentally deranged from the get go...there is no safety from a co in the prison I was at. Google Julia Tutwiler in Wetumpka,Alabama and read for yourself about all the deaths....thats when the feds stepped in. Right now I believe there are like 1,400 women in a prison that was built in 1940 for 350...not a nice enviroment. Google about Julia and you will see Alabamas form of justice. Thats why I try and tell my experience because some of these young people think it's cool and they are tough...it's not and honestly it could even kill you.

Not all people that murder should be there...most of them YES! A big yes...but then you got the ones that killed to keep from being killed (domestic most of the time) and they are not bad people.

I went from being an upstanding member of our community and my way of life overnight. Are you saying I am a bad person because I went to prison or am I misunderstanding? Anyone can go...and it can happen faster than you would ever think possible. I lied for my husband for a long time..I was beaten down at least every other day for years and still did nothing...the last time he locked me in our bedroom..I went to sleep and was woke up being choked...he was going to kill me that night..I knew it..because he knew I was going to leave him finally and he would tell you now what he did to me was inhumane and he should have went to prison. I shot him twice is why I did so much time..and telling the judge I would do it again didn't help me so...but all in all I have a good life now so it's all good. He would even make me go to work with him sometimes so he could "monitor" me..and I promise I never gave him any reason to mistrust me..he was an alcoholic with a badge and insanely jealous. Thats why I get very emotional about men that degrade women and think its so cool and funny..no woman should ever be raped or beaten...its just evil and I really have to pray sometimes when I think about somethings..but anyway..yep I am a woman that went, done it and still kept my sanity..part of it anyway lol.

I think it's funny how women act like their only choice was to shoot someone.
