How is this possible?

me and my friend set up a area under a table with a cloth over it. We greminated and plated in a pot.We forgot about the seeds for 2 days the lights dried out the soil and we assumed they were dead,and being the atoners we are we just turned of the lighs and said we will clean it up later. In the dark for 4 days with no water 2 seeds sprouted and are 1 inch tall. How? how did they sprout with no water and no light? my friend watered them and put the floresent light back on.we have a outdoor grow spot and we will move them there in a few weeks. Hopefully his parents dont look in his room lol.

nope they will not look in his closet and we are just waiting for them to grow enough to move them then we are moving them out asap chill out man.

it's a big risk not to even be aware of. just something to think about. i guess it's not a complete grow inside. you kids should try asking your parents, they might suprise you. i have kids and a pretty kick ass grow.

in order to germinate, seeds need

1) darkness
2) moisture
3) heat

u got the darkness part down... the lights drying out the soil hints heat, thats #2...

and perhaps u didn't dry out alll the soil, the area around the seed might not've been badly affected... so yea, it IS possible...

oh ok thanks but the seeds were already germinated then we put them in the soil.I ma just wondering how they can sprout in those conditions or is that still germination?
