Finding people's Ip addresses from forums?

if they are stupid just tell them to go to showmyip.com and then tell them to tell you the number. say its like the number for free ice cream or something

Ganj Reviewed by Ganj on 02-18-2006. Finding people's Ip addresses from forums? Hey guys, just wondering if it is possible to get someone's ip address from the posts they make on forums?? Is it just mods/admin that can have access to that info? I am actually pretty desperate to find out.... Any help at all would be greatly appreciated :) even if its just links or somthing.
