Just a reminder - never tell cops anything. At all. You NEVER have to say anything incriminating. If they ask questions about drug usage tell them you don't see what that has to do with the situation and you're not going to answer. If they press, say you want a lawyer. Even the crappy court appointed lawyer is better then nothing.

Even if your mom knows you smoke I'm sure she'd understand you not talking. The last thing she wants is you going to jail, especially for something you didn't do.
