Temperature Control!
BTW that Bake A Round tube looks perfect! Thanks alot Turtle.
Also since people began to post here, as of right now the humidity is only at 20, the seeds have not yet come up but are on there way.. I sacraficed one of the plants to make sure the seed had begun to germinate, the plant had a strong root coming from it heading towards the surface. I'll admit I planted the seeds to deep but they seem to be doing just fine, taking a little bit longer to come up though. The point is though will they be at all damaged from this low humidity or does that not really come into effect until they have reached the surface?k1ucHt Reviewed by k1ucHt on . Temperature Control! Hey everyone I'm currently running a closet grow in a 4ft high, 2ft wide, 2ft deep space. The temperature is currently at 91 and I am looking to take it down at least 6 degrees and I would like some suggestions on how to go about doing so, I cannot run a window unit and access to outside air is virtually impossible. you need to get the humidity up to 50 or so for veg . put a bucket of water with a fan blowing across the surface and that should bring it up. the humidity in my veg cab ranges from 50-60rh and 30-50rh in my flower chambers.
i found a bake a round on ebay for $16. thanks again turtle!

wow, i just reread your post. patients is the most important thing you need to grow pot. i can't believe you killed a plant to see if it was alive! i guess it's not that big a deal. just remember, if you try to rush things you're not gonna get the results you want. i know how hard it is to wait for the little guys to brake the surface but waiting is what it's all about if you wanna grow mj. just sit back and let the plants grow. they will let you know if something is wrong. good luck.

I've got one with the little box, and a long cable with a probe. If you've got the probe, stick it into your fan's grill. That's what I did. No direct light, 100% airflow...

Bake A Round
NO PROBLEM guys!
I'm trully impressed that there isn't a sticky or something with information for cool tubes... I remember that I wanted to build one, and just by chance I stumbled into one of Zandor's posts... saying he used those Bake A Rounds.
!!!! Why didn't I read that before?!
Anyways, they work great. They're pretty sturdy (not super thick, but strong) glass... Pyrex (high temperatures no problem!), and they're sold all over eBay.

Hey turtle I do have a prob connected to a long cord, it's supposed to be used to read indoor/outdoor temperatures, I'll do what you said about putting it in the fan grill. Thanks again!

Alright, this grow has been restarted.. turns out only one of the seeds even began to grow, the others were no where to be found in the dirt. No they were not germinated first, big mistake I guess.
Devin I'm new myself but I've read alot. A good temp is 76-78F, humidity should be 50% or higher for veg and between 30-50% for flowering.
I am alos almost positive that our thermometer is broken so we're getting a new one, and we bought a cool mist humidifier which is being installed tommorrow. I'm germinating the last 3 seeds as well.Any pictures posted by myself or anyone using my username are not my own and are in fact pictures I found on an image search engine. I germed in the paper towel method (on top of my WiFi router... warm) and then placed them on soil holes... I mean, the holes weren't 1/4inch deep. And before germinating, I dropped the seeds inside a glass of water, with SuperTHRIVE...
